Dear readers,
Why are the Tibetan government-in-exile not ordering their people to stop the self-immolations? For everything else, the Tibetan government acts as a dictatorship and not the democracy they pretend to be, with the regime dictating to their people what they want them to do and believe.
So why do they continue to allow the tragic loss of lives and remain silent on this matter? Are they allowing their own people to self-immolate so they can pressure the international community to do something? Are they letting their own people die for their own gains?
The international community will not do anything because they would rather do business with China to better the lives of their own citizens. The international community, to put it bluntly, owes nothing to Tibet and Tibetans. Everyone’s country and the welfare of its citizens are the responsibility of their own country. Any travesties and tragedies should be blamed on the leadership of that country, in this case the Tibetan leadership. Helping the Tibetans gives them nothing and does not benefit them in any way. If Tibetans want the self-immolations to stop, then the Dalai Lama and Tibetan ‘government’ in exile will have to humble down and plead with China to come and begin negotiations again. China is Tibet’s key. By the Dalai Lama and his ‘government’ in exile always criticizing China in the Western media, it will not make China want to start talks again. Who will talk to you to better your situation if you are always berating them?
If the horrible and tragic self-immolations are to stop, then the Dalai Lama and his ‘government’ in exile must be humble and beg China to talk and negotiate. The obvious, if painful, truth is that Tibet holds no power and China holds all the power. Tibet stands to gain if the Dalai Lama and his people humble down on behalf of all the Tibetans.
Don’t let the lives of those self-immolated have no meaning.

Prominent Buddhists in North America welcome the suspension of the Dalai Lama’s Personal Emissary of Peace, Tenzin Dhonden. Although it is not official that Tenzin Dhonden has been permanently replaced as he has hired a New York legal firm to reclaim his position on the trust, a temporary replacement has been appointed as the organisation’s “acting secretary”. It is unfortunate that His Holiness the Dalai Lama is surrounded by officials who seemed to be self-serving. This incident, and the sudden removal of Penpa Tsering are series of scandals that continue to expose more corruption and abuses within the top Tibetan leadership circle.

Yet another innocent soul lost at the hands of the tyrannical Tibetan government in-exile’s regime. Woe to the Tibetan leadership for their use of the Tibetan people for their own selfish gains. It’s all too easy for them to demand Tibetans ostracise Dorje Shugden practitioners and enact this demand through official channels. However, when it comes to people killing them themselves, and inadvertently benefiting the leadership, they selfishly remain quiet.
For anyone that knows Tibetan mentality, it’s all too obvious the government wants is to line their bloodstained pockets with as much money as possible.

Sad state if affairs. The world’s attention is on Trump and his tweets, the Rohinya issue and the Middle East issue and the African continents issue which crosses physical borders and are current. The Tibetan issue is 60 years old, a tat too old for the world’s attention.
And, self-immolation is, especially by monks are not dharmic at all. A very bad portrayal of the spirituality of Tibetans. And, it mixes politics with religion which makes it taboo. Doubt if aid will come and the self-immolation will be for naught.

Please uncategorically advise Tibetans to stop self immolations.
It didn’t work, it will not work.
Stop it for god’s sakes.

It is so tragic that these lives are lost and nothing is done to prevent it! The CTA should act immediately to stop these and find solutions for their people.
So many Tibetans are desperate and even to the point of taking their lives! I strongly beg the Dalai Lama and his government in exile to make the necessary to stop these self-immolations and give the Tibetans peace and happiness!

A monk in Tibet , self-immolating for the cause of Tibet’s freedom, shows up the tragic state of affairs, especially among the poor and the isolated Tibetans in Tibet, who for some reason or other, appear to have been cut off from news and info on what is really happening with Tibet and the Tibetan cause. A monk should not kill himself for a political cause, especially when the politics keeps changing. The Dalai Lama is now strongly advocating for and supporting the cause of autonomy for Tibet and not independence from China!
63 year old Tenga, a Tibetan monk , burnt himself to death not knowing of the latest developments. Why did he not know that taking life, especially more so, as a member of the Sangha, is a serious transgression that carries heavy negative karma? How was he incited to take his life? It is hard to believe as Lobsang Sangay declares, that Tibetans in Tibet are being so repressed under the Chinese rule that they are forced to commit suicide! Great masters like Lama Thubten Phurba of Tibet , who had been born to a poor nomadic family and rose to become the great Gelug Master that he is today, are living evidence of how the repression story is a myth rather than a fact.
It is time the Tibetan Leadership start negotiations with the Chinese Government for a peaceful and amicable reconciliation, so that the Dalai Lama and Tibetans can return home .Please stop further self-immolations, if you truly care for Tibet and fellow Tibetans!

With so much scandal among the top notch of the Tibetan government, involving personalities like, Penpa Tsering, Tenzin Dhonden and Lobsang Sangay, Tibetans must be very disappointed and frustrated.
We will never know how much a 63 year old monk knew but could only
feel his frustration in taking his life with self immolation.
It is not dharmic for a monk to commit suicide and for that very reason, the Dalai Lama should tell Tibetans not to self immolate.
Do not let waste of life continue just to prove that China is oppressing Tibetans. China is doing a lot to improve the lives of Tibetans in China.

There is only one obvious conclusion from the action of Tibetan government-in-exile not stopping their people from the self-immolations – THEY DON”T CARE! Lifes of Tibetans are cheap as dirt, therefore the lost of one, or of 151 is of has no bearing or whatnot, certainly does not worth the effort of this group of elite to make a statement or to say something. How else to interpret it?

Tibetans really need to understand that there is no point for them to self immolate. What do they get out of it.Its a sin to commit suicide. The CTA is getting more ‘donations’ for something they are not stopping.People die for Tibet but CTA get richer.Lives gone and sadly nobody will remember their name in one week time.HHDL and CTA must tell people to stop. For sake of human lives.Dont talk about free Tibet when you can’t convince your people to stop taking their own lives. How many more lives to waste for free Tibet? This method is really wrong and inhumane.I think China will be more anger because people immolate themselves for free Tibet when Tibet no more.I am sure many will agree that there are other ways to talk to China.Immolation is not

The Tibetan leadership remain silent for not speaking up to stop their Tibetan self-immolations is totally a cruel act. The Tibetan leadership only speak about the self-immolation of Tibetan to show sympathy and play blaming game to get funding from sponsors. What kind of government that will only take advantage from their people and in this case taking advantage of their people’s life. Tibetan should wake up and see the real motive of their leaders. Tibetans have the right to voice up and vote to change their leaders as claimed by the Tibetan leadership as a democracy government. The world is watching every single move of the Tibetan leadership as many of their negative act being revealed now.

No matter what the numbers of self-immolation will not decrease as long as the CTA do not doing any negotiations with China. Tibet remains stateless and it’s impossible to be democracy. Tibet is still belongs to China.
The Dalai Lama had earlier advice Tibetans not to self-immolate but yet, his words have been ignored. Why the CTA not doing anything? What is the motive behind this immolation thing? I’m wondering what make these people so brave and courageous to sacrifice themselves. Should there some great beneficial they received IF they willingly to let go their lives.

When is CTA going to do something? When is CTA going to stop these people from self-immolation. Imagine this is the 151st case of self-immolation. CTA does not feel bad at all and they think it is not their fault. The way they react is showing the world that they are cold-blooded. They do not care what happens to the people. They only know how to care about their livelihood and their own pockets and their lives are more important than others. I hope they do believe in KARMA!!!!

Instead of asking “Why CTA don’t do something to stop the self-immolation?“, maybe we can put it the other way round, “Why CTA need to do something to stop the self-immolation?”

Come on guys, will you do something to stop money flowing into your pocket? Of course not! If CTA stop the self-immolation by force, what else sympathy card Lobsang Sangay can play to get money from other countries? LOL
I can tell you guys, CTA nor Lobsang Sangay WILL NOT do anything to stop self-immolation. They will indirectly encourage it to play sympathy card to get money continuously flowing in to Lobsang Sangay pocket, so that he can buy more houses in the US. They will continue indirectly encourage it to give pressure to China, last time was for independent, now is to let Dalai Lama to go back China.
If CTA doesn’t play dirty, who does? LOL

It has been very clear and obvious that Lobsang Sangye is not into the benefit of the citizens, but he is only into the benefit of himself, so what when other people died, whether it is his people or not, it does not matter to him at all, I would say, even if the person is his immediate family member, he may not care still, because he only care for himself, as long as the person who get harmed is not himself, nothing else does matter to him.

What had CTA scarified for those who scarified to go on self- immolation. I think none, CTA don’t even ask their people not to do so, and they remain silent. Feel sad if you have such government, it give you a picture there is no hope in the future. Tibetan leadership can anytime tell their peoples stop the elf-immolation and think another way to achieve what they want. Why don’t CTA do so. The Dalai Lama has banned the Dorje Shugden practice, yet millions around the world are exercising their democratic rights by practicing Dorje Shugden, so the CTA should not segregate and discriminate against them.
The Dalai Lama has banned the Rangzen (Tibet Independence) movement, yet many are exercising their democratic rights by continuing to pursue for Tibet’s independence.
Video: Rangzen people are more dangerous than Dorje Shugden people by Prof Samdhong Rinpoche: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tn62-WmDFg4
The Tibetan Youth Congress (TYC) are very defiant, within days after the Dalai Lama said that “Tibetans want to stay with China”, the TYC has announced it will take out a nationwide campaign in India calling for independence for Tibet. Shouldn’t the Tibetan leadership in Dharamsala and Dalai Lama take action against the Rangzen people? Dalai Lama has expressed that he wishes to visit Tibet and see the 6 million Tibetans before he passes. The only way to do this is to become friends with China. If that is the case, if Rangzen activist protest against China, would this not jeopardize his wishes? Tibetans are always saying they owe so much to the Dalai Lama and if this is so, shouldn’t they help the Dalai Lama return to Tibet by becoming friends with China? The first step is that the Dalai Lama and his exiled govt (CTA) in Dharamsala, North India, must start using the China flag. Show some concessions. Make China happy. If Dalai Lama wants to be an autonomous state of China under China, he has to be sincere by using the China flag first. After all, all the world leaders are now refusing to meet on official terms the Dalai Lama. Dalai Lama is being banned from more and more countries. More heads of state are scrambling to make friends with China and not Dalai Lama. To be friends or friendly with Dalai Lama will bring no economic benefits to their countries. China is the largest economy in the world now and is still growing. By being friends with China, many countries will benefit their economy and that is the first priority of all world leaders.
More leaders are not meeting the Dalai Lama and his popularity is dropping. Even if Tibetans want to use violence to overcome China, it will be impossible. Six million Tibetans cannot withstand the might of the 1.2 billion Chinese in warfare. The best route is the Dalai Lama’s middle way which is to become an autonomous state under China and he can return to Tibet to visit and see his followers who are waiting for him. All countries should not use Dalai Lama as a trump card to irritate China because of the competition with China. It is better to be friends with a super-power such as China.

At the same time commuting subside with hates and angers it’s not going to bring you to heaven to see Tsongkhapa, Vajrayogini, Tara nor Manjushri.
When is Tibetan going to wake up and realise that they are just being used to create lots of money for the Tibetan “government” in exile to buy more cars and big house. Travel all around the world with first class and 5 stars hotel. Well .. these people don’t even have a clue what are they doing. May be they just like it the way it is.. so that they can continue to have all the funds.

CTA would like to downplay Samdhong Rinpoche’s private visit to China. The fact is, in order for him to go, he needs permission of India government, China government and Dalai Lama. For someone as high profile as him and who has criticised China for decades to be even allowed to go to China shows you that he is not going there for excursion, holidays or just to meet relatives. It will definitely be something official. Since he is going as the envoy of the Dalai Lama, it is definitely to negotiate with the China government regarding Tibet’s autonomy and Dalai Lama’a returning back, it could not be anything else. Therefore it is important for CTA and all Tibetans and their supporters to stop criticising China so that the negotiation goes through smoothly, and there will be a positive resolution for Tibet and a chance for the Dalai Lama to visit China and Tibet. The irony is, after Samdhong Rinpoche visited china, he is not accused to be colluding with China government for Tibet, HE HIMSELF is going to China. So there is no point in accusing Dorje Shugden people of befriending China, because the Tibetans exiled leaders are going to China themselves now.

Another tragedy that is directly due to the failure of Tibetan Leaders. How could they be so dense to say its the repression of Chinese Government that caused their people’s death. China government has pumped in billions into restoring history and culture of Tibet, as well as improving the lives and livelihood of the Tibetans in Tibet. It is only an empty government who has no land so to speak, that exploit these situations for their own gain. Hello! Wake up! Most countries are now seeking to work with China for the good of their people, so who would want to jeopardise that to side with a nobody? Tibetan Leaders really does not have any foundations to be prideful and delusive of their powers to command. Take care of your people and seek China’s pleasure to gain that much needed dialogue to fulfill the wishes of so many who yearns to return home, including His Holiness the Dalai Lama. 60 years is a very very long time under refugee status and the world leaders are bored already.

China made another intelligent move in offering economic incentives in exchange for political favor. Recently, Senator Steve Daines of Montana hosted a delegation of Chinese Communist Party officials that oversee Tibet and undercut the simultaneous visit by the President of the Tibetan Government in exile in exchange for a $200 million deal with a leading Chinese retailer to export Montana’s beef to China. The Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) is no match for China regarding political astuteness. If the CTA is smart, they will start to build rapport and stop condemning China for an event that happened over 60 years ago.

Looking at several contradictory reports regarding the alleged Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche’s visit to China, one should wonder why Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche had to deny his four-day visit to China after such visit was confirmed by Dr. Lobsang Sangay and now by a former Indian intelligence officer. If Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche had the best intention to promote the Dalai Lama’s middle way, then why he needs to deny this visit? After all the Sino-Tibetan relationship has been stagnant since 2011, the fact that Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche was able to secure a meeting with Chinese government officials should have been a great success for him, instead of becoming another source of controversy.

China’s economic prowess is not to be underestimated. Leaders from various countries seek economic collaborations with China, who has been contributing to the world’s economic growth, especially in the past decade. The Indian Intelligence Bureau’s (IB) report highlighted the lack of opportunities in India for growth and advancement as the causes for Tibetan youth to willingly betray their host India and work as spies for China. Tibetan youth clearly have difficulties to survive in India as CTA failed to create sufficient jobs for the Tibetans in exile. This is a reality and we will see more and more trend like this and eventually Tibetans seeking improvement in their quality of life and intellectual advancement will leave India and ‘return’ to China.

Samdhong Rinpoche’s November visit to China is brought up again here in this article because it may have implication to India’s politics. At the moment, it is not clear yet as to what transpired during Samdhong Rinpoche’s 4-day visit to China and how the development may impact the progress of Tibetan cause or India-China relations. The confusion and curiosity related to this visit were increased a notch recently after Samdhong Rinpoche denied that this visit even occurred. It is very likely that the public may speculate further about Samdhong Rinpoche’s real intention behind the visit and why he was hiding it, and the speculation could run wild and impose a new risk to the Tibetan cause and India China relations. Therefore, it is best for Samdhong Rinpoche quickly clarify this matter once and for all.

Instead of creating employment opportunities, the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) has nurtured a culture where Tibetans expect handouts and foreign aids to get by. As a result, they created a new generation of Tibetan refugees who are volatile and vulnerable, and always depend on others to help them out of circumstances. Now, Tibetan refugees in India do not even hesitate to compromise the security of their host country, India, who has been so kind to them, in exchange for monetary gain.

This is such a torture to see what the CTA does to the Tibetans! Not only have the Tibetans lost their country for so long already, being in exile and not knowing where to go after the kind 99 years in India, the Tibetan Government in exile has only created problems for the Tibetans.
Instead of giving them the means to live their life independently and making a living, they kept them small as refugees for 60 years already.
Instead of making a good connection with the Chinese Government, they only insulted them although the conditions have drastically improved since the Chinese took over in Tibet.
Instead of helping their Tibetans, they have supported the self-immolations and burned candles instead of stopping these unnecessary and unhelpful actions!
Instead of focussing to bring peace to the Tibetans in Tibet and in the Tibetan communities all over the world, they have incited hate against Dorje Shugden practitioners and insulted everyone who had any connection to China!
What is the CTA up to? Why are they fighting the Dorje Shugden people for so long instead of doing their work and improving the life of the Tibetans??
Everyone should be aware of this CTA!! Shame on you!!

China has been liberal towards Buddhist practitioners including those who are practicing Shugden deity. In fact, there are 250 million Buddhists in China currently, almost three times more than communist party members. On the contrary, the Tibetan leadership in exile continues to discriminate against Shugden practitioners and politicizes the Shugden controversy to their benefit instead of promoting harmony among Buddhist practitioners. How ironic that the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) continuously criticizes China for their human rights issue and yet the CTA themselves failed to respect even the most basic human rights of other people, freedom of religion.

Although His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s secretary had previously denied that the Dalai Lama was paid $1 million to speak for Raniere, a trace has been found that the Dalai Lama’s trust has received US$ 2 million in donation ten days after the event. Raniere is the leader of a cult called NXIVM which brands women on their pubic region with his initials and requires them to give him nude photos of themselves and other damaging material in case they reveal the secrets of his cult.
Although the Dalai Lama office continues to deny that the donation was related to the speaking engagement, one can’t help but wonder whether His Holiness would have received such donation if he did not come to Albany to speak in the first place?

Dorje Shugden practitioners have been victims of unfounded blame for more than half a decade with news reports initiated by the Tibetan leadership in Dharamsala alerting the public that Shugden fundamentalist groups posed huge security threat to His Holiness the Dalai Lama. It was alleged that they were covertly backed up by China. The reality is that terrorists are out to harm His Holiness, with two bombs found amid His Holiness’ tight security, thanks to the intensive combing operation by Indian police. The Central Tibetan Administration should stop spreading lies that Shugden practitioners or more absurdly, Shugden practice imperil the life of the Dalai Lama, and pay more attention to real threats such as this.

“For someone who have [sic] had the honor and good fortune to serve His Holiness for over three decades, it had been painful to see how His Holiness’ name and legacy was slowly getting caught in unnecessary distractions (Albany-based NXIVM) and discordant messages (of rich and celebrity orientation). Especially, for the Trust, which is effectively His Holiness’ principal charitable foundation for the outside world, the last two years’ record has been, to put it mildly, quite embarrassing. The Trust has alienated most of its inter-organizational relationships, almost destroyed its infrastructure of the Tibetan graduate scholarship program with a majority of the independent reviewers resigning, and failed to support those international organizations that were actively inspired by His Holiness’ vision for the world and were undertaking high profile initiatives furthering His Holiness’ vision. Most sadly, the Trust has unfortunately acquired a reputation of being authoritarian, confrontational, petty, and uncaring, characteristics so far removed from His Holiness’ personal ethics. In particular, for those organizations and individuals who had been the recipients of grants from the Trust, frankly, the behavior of the Trust can be best characterized as that of bullying. If ever, some of the email communications from the Trust during this period were to come to light within the public domain, it would be a source of embarrassment for everyone connected with the Trust.”
The Dalai Lama’s office had also called for investigations and the eventual of any wrong doings by the organisation.

The Indian police has issued a circular for Tibetan refugees who are Indian voters or Indian citizens to surrender their Tibetan refugees registration certificates (RCs). Dawa Rinchen, Tibetan settlement officer at McLeodganj, said that the matter was to be dealt by the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA).
There are around 1,400 Tibetan voters registered in Kangra district, many of them have exercised their voting rights in the state assembly elections without surrendering their RCs.
The Tibetan and Indian authorities are in a fix over this issue as the Tibetan authorities say that they don’t have any data of such Tibetans while the Indian authorities have passed the responsibility to Tibetan authorities stating that they had not asked anyone to apply for Indian citizenship or voting cards.
The CTA has already asked the Tibetans that they cannot take the benefits of being a refugee if they are holding Indian citizenship. There are also guidelines that such Tibetans have to leave the settlements. However, it remains to be seen if such rules will affect the CTA officials, such as Dhardon Sharling, Dolma Gyari, and Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar who hold Indian passports.

Tibet Autonomous Region Public Security Department issued a report on organized crime, that contains information about activities that violate the existing law and regulations. The CPC Central Committee and State Council will act to control these criminal activities to ensure social harmony and stability, and that the people live and work in peace and happiness. CPC called the ‘Middle Way’ as a narrow nationalistic idea and is trying to control any activities related to supporting the Dalai Lama.

An article published in 1997 in the Spanish magazine “Mas Alla” stated that Ling Rinpoche practiced Dorje Shugden. The magazine covers spiritual and metaphysical issues around the world, and doesn’t have anything to do with Tibetan Buddhism. So in that way, it has no reason to be biased in and to write articles in support of or against Dorje Shugden.
The magazine was also issued in 1997, before the height of the ban, at a time when no one was compelled to hide the truth. So we can be sure that the reporting on this matter is therefore neutral and unedited and objective.
It’s a fact that both the tutors of the 14th Dalai Lama (Kyabje Ling Rinpoche and Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche) practiced Dorje Shugden, which was confirmed by the research conducted by the reporter JC Deus from Mas Alla. Deus clearly interviewed the right people and since the truth will always prevail, it is not surprising that an independent researcher like him with no links to Tibetan Buddhism so easily discovered and reported that Ling Rinpoche does Dorje Shugden practice. Remember that Deus was just doing his duty as a reporter, and reporting it as a neutral historical fact, not with any agenda in mind.
This is clear proof and it contradicts the false information the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) propagates that Ling Rinpoche does not practise Dorje Shugden. Lies like these will always be found out and exposed. This has been proven with the CTA who continue to make a fool out of themselves, losing trust among the Tibetans and supporters around the world.
This is PART 1, the first part of my 4-part comment. It shows the first three pages (pg 28-29) and the cover of the Mas Alla magazine, which published this report about Dorje Shugden.

Mr. Mila Rangzen says the head of the Tibetan exiled govt is a sexual predator
Since 2011, Lobsang Sangay’s tenure as the President of the Central Tibetan Administration has been mired with various scandals and failures, such as the election scandal and the US$1.5 million loan scandal. The 17% unemployment rate among the Tibetans in exile has also forced some Tibetans to become spies, betraying their host country India. Now, in more shocking news from Mila Rangzen, who has been proven to have access to a lot of insider news, Lobsang Sangay has been revealed to be a sexual predator who does not hesitate to risk the Dalai Lama’s reputation to satisfy his lust. More women and people are speaking up about this. This is really breaking news. These women deserve a platform to express the pain and humiliation and be open to heal.
Mila Rangzen has, on numerous occasions, shared extremely accurate and reliable news for the benefit of the Tibetan community. He has never failed us with the accuracy of the news and they have all proven to be true. Mila seems to not be afraid to tell the truth.
All the victims of the sexual predator Lobsang Sangay should not keep quiet anymore and must expose him once and for all. He should be punished for his actions and asked to step down from his position now! The victims should be empowered by this and speak up and point the finger at Lobsang Sangay if this is true. Do not stay in the dark and hide your shame because Lobsang Sangay is destroying the reputation of the Dalai Lama.

Tibetan govt in exile is corrupt, liars, segregationalists, greedy, bigots and this is what they do when Dalai Lama is alive. After Dalai Lama is no more, the whole Tibetan govt in exile will just collapse overnight.
They lost their country in 1959 because they are too corrupt to keep it. For the last 60 years they cannot get their country back. Tibetan govt is a failure whether in Tibet or in exile.
